Kevin Murphy - Operations Manager

Kevin is passionate about helping families access the best possible care and support for their children. He is deeply committed to making services feel approachable, respectful, and responsive to each family’s unique needs. Kevin understands how important trust and communication are, and he works hard to ensure families feel heard, supported, and confident throughout their journey.

Being fluent in both English and Spanish, Kevin is able to connect with families from diverse backgrounds and help bridge communication gaps so caregivers can feel fully involved and empowered in the care process. He values building strong relationships and believes that every family deserves compassionate, high-quality support that honors their culture, language, and experiences.

At Roots ABA, Kevin is dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment where families feel comfortable, understood, and supported every step of the way.

Nicole Shifflett, MS, BCBA, LBA

Nicole Shifflett is a Board Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst who loves working alongside learners on the Autism Spectrum and their families. She has experience supporting children and teens ages 2–18 and is passionate about helping each learner grow in ways that feel meaningful, empowering, and authentic to who they are.

Nicole believes that learning happens best through connection. She is especially passionate about compassionate care and naturalistic teaching, focusing on building skills within everyday routines, play, and real-life experiences. Her approach is strengths-based, respectful, and centered on creating a safe, positive environment where learners feel supported and successful.

At Roots ABA, Nicole is committed to partnering with families to celebrate progress both big and small. She empowers learners build confidence, independence, and joy in their daily lives.

Our Partner

We partner with our affiliate coffee shop Branches Coffee Co. to provide jobs to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our goal is to provide job training and social skills that can be used in our shop or anywhere. We want to help with growth in independence across a lifespan!
